September is National Food Safety Education Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about safe practices that prevent foodborne illness.  Let’s dive deep into theories and frameworks found often in leadership discussions around food safety policy, economics, and regulatory compliance.

This is a lecture video from one of Dr. Darin Detwiler’s previous courses – content that he includes in almost every single course he teaches. Detwiler talks about the Theory of Economic Regulation,  Corporate Social Responsibility (Carroll’s Pyramid of CSR) and Human Needs (Maslow’s hierarchy), as well as where they do (and don’t) relate.
